Congratulations to Jason Suter (boater) and Bill Fore (co- angler) for earning the top spots for WVBF at this year’s Semi National event on Lake Anna, VA! Both anglers will be moving on to next spring’s elite National Championship! (site to be determined)
We also want to congratulate boaters, JC Christopher, Brian and Kaleb Hill, for finishing 5th 7th and 8th place overall, and co anglers Jared Bowen, Bill Harmon, and Michael Bierer for finishing just ounces behind Bill!

Minnkota Fortrex Trolling Motor for sale!

The Bass Federation has given us a new, in the box, Fortrex Trolling Motor as a fundraiser. It is a Minn Kota Fortrex, 24Volt, 80 lb thrust, 45 inch shaft, with a Dual Spectrum CHIRP (DSC) transducer built in. Johnson Outdoors has the same trolling motor listed for $1699.99. We have not done well with trying to raffle trolling motors, so we are selling this one outright. If you are a member of the West Virginia Bass Federation, your price is $1200.00. If it isn’t sold within a month or so, we will open it up to non-members. Members, if you want it, email Doug Wine at msgdwine@yahoo.com.

Ok, here we go! As I mentioned on Facebook, we are going to raffle off some items. This is open to everyone!
The first item is a gift voucher for $120 towards a new battery of your choice from Interstate Batteries! Donated from a distributor in Gassaway WV. We will arrange to get the battery to you, wherever you’re located. If you win, go to www.interstatebatteries.com, and pick out your battery. You would be responsible for any cost above the $120.
We will have 50 spots for $5 each. You can pay by Venmo (@wvbassfed) or PayPal (@wvbassfed) or arrange to meet and pay cash. Please send PayPal or Venmo to “friends and family” so we don’t incur a charge, and in the notes section, please put your name. Thanks.
